We use our thumbs and fingers to apply pressure on specific areas of the feet or hands, based on a theory that those are connected to certain organs and body parts. All our body systems (digestive musculoskeletal, nervous, respiratory, urinary, endocrine, and lymphatic) have reflexes on our feet, and the aim is to improve the faction of those systems and bring them to work to their full potential.

Some history: The roots of reflexology go back to ancient Egypt and China. In 1915 Dr. William H. Fitzgerald, introduced the concept of zone therapy to the western world and in the 1930’s, American physiotherapist Eunice Ingram developed the zone theory into what is known as modern reflexology.
